Founded in 2006, Alpha-Omega Yoga Training is one of the top and most authentic yoga training programs in Texas. With nearly 1,000 graduates in the United States and abroad, our program is training tomorrow’s leaders in the yoga community.
Our program is based on authentic yoga practices of India. Combining these ancient practices with modern teaching techniques, we provide you with a solid foundation for your personal and professional practice of Yoga.
Our core training encompasses Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, Eight limb path and Kriya Yoga. Our practices of asana and pranayama incorporate the core principles of the Hatha Yoga Pradapika, the ancient text for yoga. Students are encouraged to develop their own teaching style, finding inner freedom and expression of their true selves. The yoga training program is designed to transform you physically, mentally and spiritually, providing you with the skills you need to go out into the world and share this wonderful practice with all.
Once your training is complete, Alpha-Omega provides you with a mentor, available to assist you as you navigate through your yoga journey. We also provide continuing education programs throughout the year, providing you with opportunities to continue deepening your practice.

CHIDANANDI SHERI CHEROKEE
Founder and Director
Chidanandi Sheri, Founder and Director of Alpha- Omega Yoga, has been practicing yoga for over 40 years and teaching for over 30 years and is an internationally renowned teacher of Yoga.
She has continually furthered her education in many areas related to the yoga way of life. Chidanandi is a registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 (Experienced Yoga Teacher with over 100,000 hours of Teaching Experience) She holds a Bachelors degree in Body Science, two degrees in Herbal Medicine, Aromatherapy, and a Masters in Business Administration.
In addition, Sheri holds four certifications in Ayurveda and has studied at the Prakash Deep Ayurvedic Institute in India. Also is certified in Yoga Therapy from Kaivalyadhama ashram in India. Also training through Kaivalyadham ashram with traditional yoga. She travels to India annually to further advance her understanding of the ancient practice of yoga. Chidanandi is experienced in a wide variety of yoga styles, such as, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Tantric Yoga, Vinyasa Style Yoga, Heated Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, and the Yoga Sutras. Practicing yoga has brought Sheri so much joy and it is her mission is to inspire, encourage, and improve the lives of those who would like to embark on the path to better health and spiritual awareness.
SI (SASKIA) MURRAY
Si Has been practicing yoga since 2003, and she retired from a busy corporate job in December, 2004. Today, She is a full time instructor, and teaches a variety of yoga styles, such as: Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, Heated Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, and Pilates Yoga Fusion. Si practices and teaches her classes with focus on the breath and mindfulness of movement. She is passionate to pass the message of yoga on to her students and to those who are interested in learning. She has continually furthered her education in many areas related to the yoga way of life.
Si is a graduate of Alpha Omega Yoga School, Dallas and is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. She holds certifications in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Yoga for Kids, Strength Yoga, Yin/Yang Yoga, Yoga for Addictions and Mat Pilates.
Practicing yoga has placed Si on a path of Non-Excess, Non-Possessiveness, Contentment, Surrender, and Living in the ‘NOW’. When Si is not teaching yoga, she is spending time with friends, cooking her favorite curry, indoor cycling, and spending quality time with her loving chihuahua, Chui.
